Holds

As of Mar 18, you will not be able to place holds on physical materials via the Web Catalog and Mobile App. Members who have received notices that their holds are available may pick up those items but they will remain in the hold shelf until further notice if you are reluctant to visit a branch. Holds currently in the system will be honored once we resume normal operations. You are encouraged to use our virtual electronic resources.

Holds Date Extended

All currently available holds have had their "Pickup By" date extended to May 08, 2020. Members who have available holds will see this new "Pickup By" date in both their account online, and in the PBC Library mobile app.

We will continue to monitor the situation and will edit the "Pickup By" date as needed.

Book Drops

While the Libraries are closed, the book drops will remain open until further notice.

Materials Currently Checked Out

As of Mar 18, all currently checked out items to you will have a new due date of May 1, 2020.

If your library card was due to expire between Jan 01 – Jun 30, 2020 your card will be valid until July 1, 2020. You are encouraged to use our electronic services.
