The grand opening of the Jupiter branch featured
the unveiling of the new mural, "Loxahatchee - River of Life" featuring water
birds and a replica of the Jupiter Lighthouse. The mural was created by
Ron Parvu. On hand for the morning were Commissioner Karen Marcus, State House
Representative Carl J. Domino, Jupiter Mayor Karen J. Golonka, Friends of the
Library President Betty Bell, Andy Edwards, Vice Chair, Library Advisory Board,
and Library Director Jerry Brownlee |
The newly expanded Jupiter Branch opened to the
public on September 22. The new branch is twice the size of the original
building, with more computers, two meeting rooms, and a large reading area. |
