Books-By-Mail is a free service that provides books to eligible Palm Beach County residents who are unable to visit the library because of a physical disability, long-term illness and/or lack of transportation.
You may request material using the postcards we provide, by telephone or from our website. Your order will be delivered to your home by the U.S. Postal Service. You may request reader’s advisory assistance from Books-By-Mail staff.
This is a free service* for residents who reside within the co-operative library district. *Certain municipalities require a non-resident fee.
You can have up to 50 items at any one time.
Every Books-By –Mail patron is given a 28-day loan period from checkout, including time spent in the mail.
